Varied breakfast for the start of the day with scrambled eggs and juice and smoked salmon. A very pleasant area, excellent and perfect location near town centre and the lake as well as the bar area/restaurant.

The location was excellent - close to the beer garden by the lake and Very near to public transport to Bowness-on-Windermere and easy hiking and shopping in the town center. The room was well furnished with a balcony and the bar, as for instance and the breakfast was fantastic. Exceptionally helpful team with great customer service and care.

The staff are friendly efficient people on the reception desk. Its location is magnificent and lovely close to Ambleside with boats on the door step:)))

Fairly clean place with absolutely amazing staff and particularly good view of the lake. Different dishes, central location near enough to the centre. Situated only 1 km from Bridge House.

The place was good value. The weather was sunny, had thoroughly enjoyable stay. My hotel room was well furnished with excellant views and updated bath plus a balcony. I had a large and varied breakfast with the scrambled eggs and an amazing view and salmon. The location was excellent and absolutely perfect, just close to Ambleside Pier.

Wi-Fi was bad; poor breakfast, made me a little nervous.

The location was marvellous and favourable, nearby a bus stop. I had fantastic food for breakfast with a good view.

The hotel was gorgeous and fairly clean with fabulous views of the lake. The staff was outstandingly accommodating and accommodating, amazing services. My classic queen room was newly remodelled and fashionable. The location was great, close to the pier. Further, it was near boats on the door step, the Lake District National Park, and local fish. Outdoor bar was comfortable and reasonably priced.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay for lunch on our road trip.

Location: the hotel was right by a large beer garden leading down to the water, the mass fast food market and the lakeside wonderful. A cool bonus was Costa Coffee, located nearby, it offered tea and coffee.

Amazing, magnificent location in Ambleside, near to the beer garden, coffee shops and lovely restaurants and attractions. Besides, easy to get to Ambleside Roman Fort.

Extremely convenient accommodation with perfect setting really close to town centre and ferry and the "Water Front". Large and varied breakfast selection with well cooked local ingredients, scrambled eggs plus toast.

We find it good value in Ambleside. The hotel provided a rich breakfast with the scrambled eggs, juice and pastries. In the tastefully decorated room we booked there was a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. The location turned out to be excellent and unbeatable, really close to the lakeside, a lovely beer garden and shore of Lake Windermere. Also, a tranquil woodland garden was 5 km away.

Top-class and very attentive staff on the reception desk and nothing was trouble for them. The breakfast had lots of food, including nice croissants, breads, cereals, pastries and fruit. The venue was set in the central position short walk to the Wateredge, and many pubs in the late 60's and 70's.

Exceptionally nice room with lovely bed and a balcony and a seating area. Amazing building, unbeatable and super location so close to the Lake with outdoor seating for residents, the ferry and steam train excursion, and Lakes/Ambleside.
